Buffalo Street Grill in Hamburg, NY - Simply Delicious Community Centered Fare!

Bob and I were out in the Southtowns recently and were heading back into Buffalo when we decided to stop for lunch. The Buffalo Street Grill is located in downtown Hamburg, NY; in one corner of a major intersection, this bright and colorful restaurant pulled us in with its vintage charm.
We started out with cups of zesty roasted red pepper bisque, made with sweet red pepper puree, herbs and spices and a hint of cream. My sandwich was a Buffalo St. Bistro with Boars Head beef layered on a light and fluffy ciabatta bread and topped with their delicately flavored spinach and artichoke spread.
Bob had this robust Philly Cheese Steak sandwich made with Boars Head beef, sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, and mozzarella. Our chips were house made, well dried before basket fried. Served hot, these chips were perfect! The onion straws were pale and crisp and were served with a side of dijon mustard, the perfect accompaniment to the soup.

Outstanding service, super clean, the staff were sweet and professional. I highly recommend this grill and will definitely be heading back soon!
